At Kryst, we believe that the things we surround ourselves with at home should tell a story.
Kryst came about when Douwe-Jan and Agnes were driving through a Frisian village one December evening, filled with festive Christmas lights, string lights, illuminated icicles, reindeer, and Santas.
Suddenly, the thought struck them: “Why don’t we see the true meaning of Christmas anywhere?”
Kryst was born.
At Kryst BV, we want the true Christmas story to be told once again: the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. That is the message that deserves to be brought to light once more.
Through meaningful imagery, we want to help people reflect anew on the miracle of Christmas and make the light of Jesus Christ visible in streets and gardens, at homes, businesses, and churches—in both villages and cities. Our lighting not only tells a story but also invites wonder, conversation, and hope.
In this way, we want to contribute to a Christmas in which the Child in the manger—the true Light of the world—takes center stage once again. Will you join us?
